This ring draws from drum forms used in Miao ceremonial traditions, where circular bodies and sectional divisions shape the outline of the instrument. The design adapts these elements to the scale and balance required of a ring.
The drum-derived form is positioned above the band, forming a stable, centred composition that sits evenly on the hand. Made in 990 silver using coiled filigree techniques, the ring retains defined contours while maintaining clarity through daily wear.
